HOTEL AMETYST ****

Opened following a complete renovation in December 1994, the Ametyst became in its first year of operation one of the busiest hotels for business travellers in Prague.
The paintings, by Russian and Rumanian artists, are also for sale, earning the hotel its nickname of "The Gallery Hotel"

All rooms have private facilities and in-room trouser press, minibar, colour TV with satellite/cable, video on request, writing desk and in-room safe.
Services: The facilities at the Hotel Ametyst include 24-hour check-in/check-out, hotel concierge, room service available from 7 am to 11 pm, laundry, dry cleaning and ironing service, valet service, baby-sitter available, medical facilities, and evening turndown.
Car/Bus parking are available: the Ametyst offers private car parking and a parking space for one bus.

Public transport: During the day, the tram reaches the city centre in 5 minutes; at night, 2 trams run, each twice an hour.
